The Island Of Love

I was sailing through my sorrows
On the sea of broken hearts
'Til I ran into tomorrow
And my ship crashed and fell apart

I woke up on an island
And saw much to my surprise
A woman lying in the sand
With the most gorgeous light green eyes

She said the island's name was Love
And she was stranded here with me
That I was sent here from above
To put an end to Misery

So I traveled Road Desire
To the mountain range of Lust
Through the heat of Anger's Fire
'Til many dawns had turned to dusk

I found the Castle of Deception
And the Lord of Misery
And battled hard for Love's protection
With the Sword of Honesty

As it turned out, I was victorious
Lord Misery had fled
And the girl, whose name was Faith, and I
One happy day, were wed

We built a House of Happiness
And had a girl named Joy
We live there still, in endless bliss
A lifetime to enjoy
